Semmy and Gerd get clearance to play

Both players were banned from playing for the Reds until the end of the season after returning from loan spells early.

However, on appeal Semmy has been granted clearance by the FA to feature in all of Liverpool's remaining games while Neil 'Gerd' Mellor has been granted clearance to play for the reserves.

Both players will now feature for the second string against West Brom tonight.
