Sevilla up Alves asking price

Rafael Benitez was believed to be preparing a £7m bid for the Brazilian but Sevilla have slapped a £12m transfer fee on Alves. With Real Madrid and Barcelons also in the chase for the midfielder Sevilla are hoping to start a bidding war.
