Shalke in for Baros

Baros is currently near the bottom of the pecking order at Liverpool and has not played in the club's european games this season to avoid being cup-tied. This has alerted the likes of West Ham and Aston Villa to Baros' availability and now Shalke have joined the race.
Shalke can offer Baros Champions League football this season and the Czech's agent has confirmed he has spoken the German side.
"I can admit that I have had a meeting with Schalke manager Rudi Assauer," said Pavel Paska.
"The name Baros has been noted. Schalke are one of the interested clubs. Nothing more."
