Sissoko in line for early return

The Reds midfielder suffered a detached retina during the first leg of the Champions League clash with Benfica two weeks ago and there was the possibility of permanent damage to his vision.

But Rafael Benitez insists his recovery is going well and hopes to have him back in the squad shortly.

"He was running today and I was surprised because he was touching the ball," said the Liverpool boss. "In two or three weeks maybe he will be fit. I hope so."
