Slovak FA issue apology

They issued the following statement through news agency Central European News: "We would like to distance ourselves from the behaviour of a small group of people that are not representative of Slovak society or of normal Slovak football fans.

"We are very sorry for what has happened."

The head of the Slovak FA Dusan Tittel has flown to England to meet representatives of the Football Association to hand over a formal letter of apology.
