Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson says he hopes Liverpool can go through to the next stages of the Champions League.
United are through but the Reds along with Arsenal must win this week to stand any chances of going through.
"We have already qualified and if Arsenal and Liverpool could join us then I think it would be great for the English game if they were to do so," said Fergie.
