Smicer: Reds must bounce back

The Reds went out of the Champions League last night on the back of their first Premiership defeat against Boro three days previously, and now the Czech says that Liverpool must 'break free' from their disappointment and get their season back on track with a much needed victory.

He said: "We have some good memories of that competition (UEFA Cup)but it is too early yet to think about it.

"In our heads it must just be Sunday's game against Sunderland. That is a very important game for us. We must come back after the defeat at Middlesbrough and try to break away from this disappointment."
