So long Sinama?

The deal, with Real Betis, is in the balance at present whilst the Spanish team decide whether it is Pongolle, or Porto player Helda Postiga, they want to sign.

Betis appear to have both deals on the table, and will choose which player they wish to take come the January transfer window.

The move for a forward comes following a run of injuries for the sides current strikers, Ricardo Oliveira and Dani. And the lack of a natural striker has meant the team have only managed nine goals in their last 13 matches, which has left them struggling at the bottam of La Liga.

But it will be Lorenzo Serra Ferrer, the Betis boss, who will have the ultimate decision as to which player to sign.

Vice president, Angel Martin, said, "The agreement with the clubs has been reached, both for Postiga and Sinama, but obviously it's a decision that the manager must take. Both Sinama and Postiga are good players but it's a decision for the coaches."
