Blackburn Rovers boss Graeme Souness says he will not quit as manager if the board agree to sell Irish winger Damien Duff to Liverpool.

Both Manchester United and Liverpool are in the running to sign the Irishman and there were rumours in Lancashire that Souness would go if Duff left Rovers.

When asked if that was a possibility, Souness said: "It's not my style to play games with people. I've got a good relationship with the board and I'm very happy at Blackburn so I'm not going to hold a gun to anybody's head."
