Southport strengthen Reds link

Southport have recently turned professional and are ringing the changes by appointing the likes of Durnin, who joins another former Liverpool player Mike Marsh at the club.

Durnin did not have the most successful senior career at Anfield, playing in only a select number of matches but was an important part of the reserve setup. He has also represented the club's veteran sides.
