Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres started the game while Pepe Reina and Alvaro Arbeloa came on at half time. Alonso got an assist for David Villa's opener while Fernando Llorente wrapped the game up in the second half.

Alonso played the full 90 minutes while Torres played 64 minutes.
