Spurs and Reds chase Bent

After Bent turned down a move to West Ham this week, Liverpool and Spurs were left to battle it out for the striker's signature. Neither side is prepared to match West Ham's £17m bid for the striker however.

Spurs are favourites to sign Bent according to the BBC but the player is said to prefer a move to Liverpool according to today's Daily Mirror.
