Tottenham are considering making a move for Liverpool midfielder Jari Litmanen.

Glenn Hoddle is still trying to recruit a striker despite several failed attempts during the summer.

Litmanen is available on a free transfer and he claims he will take a 50% wage cut from his rumoured wages of £50,000+ a week to leave Anfield although a proposed move to Ajax recently collapsed after the player failed to agree personal terms.
