Spurs deny Davies claims

It has been reported that the Welsh international would join Liverpool in a swap deal involving Emile Heskey. Pleat, though, insists the speculation has no foundation.

He said: "Speculation about Simon's future has surfaced but any club will be told politely that he is not available."
