Statistically speaking...

It is the second time the Liverpool striker has scored four in a Premiership game, and he joins Robbie Fowler, Andy Cole, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who have also completed the feat.

It is also the first time any player has scored four in a Premiership game since 2000.

Owen is the 10th player to reach the 100-goal mark, but has taken 61 more games than Alan Shearer to do it. Ian Wright, Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand and Andy Cole also scored quicker centuries.

A massive 81 of Owen's 102 Premiership goals have come from his right foot, 15 from the left foot and only six from his head.

He has only failed to score against two clubs that he's faced - Barnsley and Watford.
