Statistics show Gerrard is back to his best.

The Reds star has enjoyed a huge improvement in form since the start of the year, a fact highlighted by the players number of assists and goals this season.

Gerrard has scored six goals for the Reds this season - with four coming since the turn of the year. Also of interest is Gerrard's creativity this season. The Liverpool midfielder has created six goals for his team-mates this season, one more then David Beckham, and two ahead of Kieron Dyer.
