Stoke switch interests Diao

Diao is completely out of favour at Anfield and has not even been given a squad number this season. The Senegalese midfielder has now been linked with a loan move to Stoke and he admits the move interests him.

"I need to be playing regular, competitive football and Stoke will give me that chance. The Championship is tough, but I need that to get my sharpness back," said Diao.
