French striker Nicolas Anelka says he is happy at Liverpool and he can't wait for the club to sign him on a permanent deal.
"Phil Thompson will soon be able to sign me," said Anelka. "It's been a long time since I enjoyed myself on the pitch - Liverpool is a fantastic club."
Paris Saint Germain have agreed a fee in principle with Liverpool but will not allow him to move until the summer. If the Reds put pressure on the French outfit now, they would most certainly have to pay extra for him if PSG listened at all.
