Sven set to crown King

While bootle-born Carragher has gained a wealth of European experience during his career at Liverpool, Eriksson has hinted that King's pace will be vital against the jet-heeled frontline of Thierry Henry and David Trezeguet.

Eriksson said: "I realise Carragher has more experience in internationals but Ledley is a bit quicker and a better header of the ball. And the only way to give somebody experience is to play him.
