Swiss win

The Swiss beat Portugal 2-0 yesterday to restore a bit of pride after their early exit from Euro 2008. Liverpool's Philipp Degen was once again an unused subsitute for Switzerland.

In the other game in Group A Turkey beat the Czech Republic 3-2 after coming back from 2-0 down. Liverpool fans will have found Petr Cech's howler for the equaliser on 87 minutes rather funny as the Chelsea keeper dropped the simplest of catches.
