Sydney FC want Fowler

The Australian club have enquired about signing the former Reds striker and Fowler is currently in Sydney to discuss terms. However, Fowler says he will only move to Australia if his family are happy to move there.

"I spoke to George [Perry, CEO of Sydney FC] last week and obviously I'm very interested, which is why I'm over here," said the Liverpool legend.

"But as you probably know I've got a young family, so basically I'm over here to see what it's like and see if it's good for them.

"Obviously I'm over here to see how it is, then I'll go and report back and see how they feel.

"But if I'm happy, they're happy and vice versa. So we'll see how it goes."
