Tennis player inspired by Reds

Rusedski begins his Wimbledon campaign against Spain's Alberto Martin after battling back from injury and drug slurs. The adopted Brit says he can complete a fairytale end to his career by bouncing back to win Wimbledon- and Liverpool are his inspiration.

He said: "Mary Pierce's great run in the French Open and Liverpool winning in Europe are the stories that inspire people.

"It's been the year of the underdog in certain respects. Why can't I keep it going and win Wimbledon?"
