Shinawatra has saw his £65m offer for a near 30% stake in the Reds usurped by local-born Morgan's counter-bid of a £73 share issue at Anfield, but he insists that he has made his final proposal to David Moores and Rick Parry.

Shinawatra said: "There is someone (Morgan) bidding a bigger amount in an attempt to make us raise our bid, but we will not do that. We will stand by our proposal.

"After Morgan's bid, the chances are 50-50," he said. "We will not increase our bid. If we do not get it, never mind."

What do you think about the bids?
