"I'm going because I believe it represents a real chance of winning the Premiership title," he says. "I followed them when I was a kid and I have a lot of admiration for the club and the people in charge.
"This is what I want. Of course it is nice to hear yourself mentioned in connection with such big clubs, but this is my first choice and I cannot wait. I have to believe I can be the best player in the world because I have to believe in my own ability.
"I hope that this move can improve me as a player and bring out more in my ability on the pitch. I'm still young enough to improve and these are exciting times for me as a player and as a person."
