Liverpool's assistant manager Phil Thompson says he wishes Gerard Houllier will dump his mobile phone because of the amount of calls he receives!
Thommo has admitted if Houllier was one of the player's he'd be fined on a daily basis because the phone's never put away, but how can he fine his own boss?
"I just wish Gerard would ditch his mobile phone," said Thommo when revealing his frustration. "It's his life. After an hour switched off he has 25 messages, and he calls most of them back!"
Since returning to Anfield, Gerard still gets stuck into his duties 100% all of the time and it's a slight concern for Thommo who's keeping a regular eye on him.
"Gerard is a workaholic," added Thommo. "He'll watch videos of opposing players into the wee small hours. He can look after himself but he still needs guidance and that's what I'm there for. We have to make sure he doesn't overdo things."
