Despite Liverpool's emphatic 5-0 home win over the Russian champions three weeks ago, the Liverpool assistant boss does not assume that we will win the game.

"It'll be a completely different game going to Moscow," he said. "The conditions will be different.

"We could need our bench coats for the first time this season, but it's the state of the pitch that you worry about.

"But if its not too heavy and we can play our passing game on it - if we get that I think we'll win.

"I think we'll go there in a good vein of form but it'll be a tough job.

"I think if we are resolute for the first 20 minutes and we'll frustrate them I think we'll win the game," he added.
