Torres injury confirmed

The Reds striker picked up a hamstring tear while playing in a meaningless friendly for Spain on Wednesday night. The injury will rule Torres out of the Chelsea and Barnsley games, though the club are hopeful he will be fit for the Champions League game against Inter Milan.
"Fernando was examined by medical staff when he returned to Melwood," said press spokesman Ian Cotton.
"A scan later confirmed their diagnosis that he suffered a hamstring tear in his right leg. Fernando is expected to be out for approximately 10 days."
