Torres will return to Madrid for the semi-final after his former club beat Valencia on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate score.
The first leg is in Spain on Thursday, April 22nd, with the return at Anfield a week later on Thursday, April 29th.
"I think it was very difficult for both Atletico Madrid and Valencia but now we have to go to Madrid," said Rafael Benitez.
"Maybe it will be more exciting for Torres than me because he was there a long time, but we know the Spanish teams are very good so it will be tough and difficult."
