"We know we can beat the top teams like Chelsea and Manchester United but have lost points in the past against other sides," said Torres.
"We are winning these now and if we can keep doing the same against the best teams we will be close to the top.
"Next, we have the Champions League match in Florence and after that we can focus on Chelsea.
"Hopefully we can win at Stamford Bridge like we did last season. If we can do that we will be in a fantastic position."
