"I'm not thinking about personal targets for next season, the most important thing for me is to win trophies," said the Spanish striker. "That is why I came to Liverpool.
"Two years without a trophy is a long time for Liverpool so maybe this season is even more important than the years before. It is a really big season for the club.
"I am sure that this year we can win the Premier League or the Champions League - a big trophy like that. It won't be easy because there are big challenges ahead but we think we can win.
"We have a fantastic squad and I know we can play better than last season."
