Traore called up by Mali

The French defender, who has forced his way back into first team contention this season, followed in the footsteps of Tottenham striker Freddie Kanoute and pledged his future to Mali in the summer.

"I think this will be good for me because I think the national team will allow me to relaunch my career," he said.
