Traore: Experience is good

"It's been a good season for me so far because I have played something like 30 games, so already I am ahead of my pre-season target which was to play in about 25 matches," he said.

"This is the first time I have played a lot of games for Liverpool and the experience has been good for me.

"It's not finished for me yet this season though - I want to play more games if possible."

Traore has not figured in Liverpool's last four games as Gerard Houllier has opted to play John Arne Riise at left back, but with Vladimir Smicer injured he may get back into the first team.

"For me Liverpool is the best club in England so it was always my intention to prove myself here."
