Traore set to leave

Traore earned a new four year contract after the Reds won the European Cup but the defender failed to progress this season and has fallen further behind in the Anfield pecking order.

The imminent arrival of Fabio Aurelio from Valencia will further limit Traore's chances of first team football and so the Mali international has been told he can leave Liverpool.

Everton, Bolton and Manchester City have all been linked with Traore in the past.
