Traore set to leave

Traore was signed from French side Lens by Gerard Houllier but the defender has struggled to make an impact at Liverpool, although winning the European Cup was an obvious high.

Traore seems set to return to the French League Une with Monaco after the Principality side contacted the Mali international about a move. Monaco officals are ready to meet with the Reds to discuss the possibility of a loan move.
