Trio return to training

Dirk Kuyt, Javier Mascherano and Nabil El-Zhar have joined up with the Reds in their Swiss training camp and may play against FC Lucerne tonight. The trio had been given extra time off because of their international commitments at the end of last season.

Now there is only the Spanish quartet of Pepe Reina, Alvaro Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres to return. The European Championshup winners will get another week off.
