Liverpool, having been knocked out of the Champions League, are now hoping to repeat their success in 2001 when they beat Alaves to lift the UEFA Cup in Dortmund.

This year there are some big names challenging for silverware, including Anderlecht, FC Porto, Lazio and Celta Vigo.
