UEFA tie not over

Houllier is confident his Liverpool side can score out in France and progress to the quarter finals.

"Marseille think it is all over, that they have done enough. You could tell that when you heard them singing in their changing room," said the Liverpool boss.

"But it is not over, and I think Marseille have done my team talk for the second leg for me.

"I relish the chance to go to France to qualify, I know we can still do it."

"They frustrated us, they got 10 men behind the ball whenever they lost possession and it was a game of few chances.

"They were well organised and worked hard for each other all night, with their striker Didier Drogba a handful all night.

"And when we did get openings, Fabien Barthez made two world class saves at the end to protect their draw."
