Under 18's draw

Goals from Nathan Ecclestone and Michael Collins put the Reds 2-0 up but they allowed Crewe to score from two set pieces and earn a point.

"We should have won the game but we just didn't come out of the changing rooms for the second half, and it was disappointing to lose two goals to set pieces," under 18's coach Hugh McAuley told liverpoolfc.tv.

"We didn't want the first half to end because we played very well and we passed the ball well. Michael's first goal was excellent after really good approach play from Nathan Eccleston and David Amoo. Nathan then scored again for us after some good play from Ben Parsonage.

"Crewe got back into the game just before half time and then they equalised in the second half. We still had chances to win the game in the second half but we are disappointed only to have drawn."
