The Reds came from 2-0 down to salvage a point away at the Carrington Complex on Saturday.

Liverpool found themselves 2-0 down after an hour despite playing well but an inspired performance from Astrit Adjarevic enabled them to rescue a point.

Nathan Ecclestone continued his fine goalscoring form when he pulled a goal back on 70 minutes after connecting with a good cross from Adjarevic. Marvin Pourie then got the equaliser with a magnificent strike ten minutes later after volleying in a Steve Irwin pass.

The Reds had chances to win the game late on with subsitute Michael Collins twice coming close but in the end were glad to settle for a point.
