Under 18's win

Nathan Ecclestone continued from where he left off last week with another fine strike to wrap the game up after Astrit Ajdaevic had put Liverpool 1-0 up with a superb strike in the first half.

The only down side for the Reds was the sending off of German striker Marvin Pourie for retaliation in the second half.

"It was a very good and pleasing performance. We had a good tempo to our game and Steven Irwin and David Amoo combined really well down the right hand side. I played Steven at right back and he gave us another dimension with some great runs," said under 18's coach Hugh McAulley.

"Astrit scored our first goal with an excellent strike while it was pleasing to see Nathan score again after some good wing play from Amoo.

"Unfortunately Marvin will now have to serve a three match ban but I don't have any complaints with his sending-off. He retaliated to a tackle and you just can't do that. He will learn from that."
