The under 18's game from a goal behind to take all three points with a 3-1 win away at Crewe on Saturday.

The Reds started the game well but failed to turn their possession into goals and went in at the interval with the score goaless. Hugh McAulley's side started the second period as well as they ended the first but were caught by a sucker punch when Crewe took the lead on the counter attack.

Liverpool levelled from the penalty spot. Marvin Pourie was brought down in the area, dusted himself off and scored the equaliser. Five minutes after that Nathan Ecclestone met a cross from Sean Highdale to head the Reds in front. Ben Parsonage crossed for Pourie to wrap the game up at the death.

The under 18's next game is the FA Youth Cup third round tie at Wycombe Wanderers.
