Emiliano Insua's Argentina lost their final group game 1-0 to Colombia. The result means Argentina, the holders, have failed to qualify for the Under 20's World Cup.

Ronald Huth played the full 90 for Paraguay as they beat Brazil 1-0 in their final group game to finish second in the table and booked their place at the Under 20's World Cup in Egypt in September.
