Up to 10 Liverpool players facing Anfield exit

Up to ten Liverpool players could be axed between now and the end of next season claims a source close to the club.

The board want the wage bill reducing even more and fans could see up to three shock departures depending on the way it's all handled.

Wright unhappy?
Several first-team squad members fear that they will be axed especially after they were told that they will be called in to see the manager for a one-to-one when pre-season training gets underway.

"There's a concern that certain positions are over subscribed and that particular area looks like it will be trimmed," said our source.

"A number of players are unhappy. Berger isn't happy with his latest contract offer and Wright's agents have been sounded out about a possible transfer following Xavier's arrival.

"A lot of the kids are also scared and I haven't even included them in my list."
