Vignal agrees Rennes move

The 22-year-old Frenchman, who spent three months of last season at Bastia, has yet to make a Liverpool squad this season and has found himself lagging behind both John Arne Riise and Jamie Carragher in the race to secure the left-back berth at the club.

"He has gone on loan to Rennes for the season," said club manager Gerard Houllier today. I think it will do him good to spend the season there."
