Vignal injury scare

French defender Gregory Vignal had to be taken off during tonight's reserve game after taking a knock on the same ankle that has kept him out of action for so long.

Speaking after the game, Vignal said: "I hope it's not too serious. I kicked the foot of the Manchester City player as I made a tackle and felt sore afterwards so I came off as a precaution."
