Vignal wants to return

The French defender is determined to fight his way back into Gerard Houllier's plans next season.

"I absolutely don't regret the loan to Corsica," he said. "I have had a lot of fun.

"Mr Houiller probably knows what I am succeeding at here at Bastia. He should be happy.

"For me, I would love to go back to Liverpool so much. Liverpool is my dream. I love it.

"I am really proud to have played two-and-a-half seasons in this mythical club.

"In England, I improved a lot and I want to thank again Mr Houiller for hiring me from Montpellier."
