Villa determined to snatch Baros

The Midland club's initial offer of £6m was rejected by Livepool, who want £7m for the Czech striker.

Villa have not yet been given permission to talk to Baros, but this latest offer may be enough to see him finally move from Anfield after weeks of speculation.
