Villarreal friendly planned

The Reds will play Pepe Reina's former club in a pre-season friendly this Summer as part of the deal that brought the goalkeeper to Anfield. No official date has been set for the game as yet but the Daily Post believes it will take place on July 30th.

Liverpool will also go to Switzerland for a pre-season training camp again but have ruled out any major pre-season tours such as last season's trip to Hong Kong.
