Voronin looking to extend Hertha stay

Last week the Ukrainian striker said he would come back to Liverpool to help the club if they were short of striking options; now he is looking to extend his loan deal with the Bundesliga leaders.

"We have spoken for the first time [about extending the loan deal]," confirmed Voronin.

"It was a good talk. I think we are on a positive path," added his agent, Andrey Golowasch.
