Voronin returning

The German side were prepared to match Liverpool's £4m valuation of the striker, who has had an impressive season on loan in Berlin, if they qualified for the Champions League. However, Hertha were beaten 4-0 on the final day of the season and missed out on the final qualifying place and so Voronin is returning to Anfield.

"The match on Saturday was my last match as a Hertha Berlin player," said the Ukrainian.

"I want to wish the club and their fans all the best in the future."
